Privacy Policy

1. Overview

The SelfFit Content Engine ("the app", "the tool") is an internal business tool operated by Frank Hidalgo / SelfFit ("we", "us", "our"). It is used to connect our own Instagram Business account and Facebook Page to our self-hosted Postiz instance for content scheduling, publishing, Trial Reels, and performance analytics.

The app is not a public, multi-tenant product. It is used internally to manage social media assets that we own and operate. This policy explains what information the app may access and how we handle it.

2. Information We Access

Depending on the permissions granted during connection, the app may access the following through the official Meta platform APIs:

• Instagram and Facebook account metadata (for example, account name, ID, and profile details of the connected business assets).
• Connected Facebook Page information associated with our business assets.
• Published media data, such as posts, captions, scheduled content, and media we publish or have published through the app.
• Performance insights and analytics for content on our own connected accounts (for example, reach, impressions, and engagement metrics).
• Access tokens and connection identifiers required to maintain the authorized connection between our accounts and our self-hosted instance.

We use "may access" intentionally: the exact data available to the app depends on the specific permissions approved and the assets connected at the time of use.

3. How We Use Information

The information accessed by the app is used solely to operate our own content workflow, specifically to:

• Schedule and publish content to our own Instagram Business account and Facebook Page.
• Create and manage Trial Reels and other media on our own accounts.
• Retrieve performance insights to understand how our own published content performs.
• Maintain the authorized technical connection between our accounts and our self-hosted instance.

4. Meta Platform Data

Our use of data obtained from Instagram and Facebook complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Data obtained through the Meta APIs is used only for the internal publishing and analytics purposes described in this policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade data accessed through the app. We do not share this data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data may be processed by the infrastructure that runs our self-hosted instance (for example, our own server hosting and the Postiz application) strictly to provide the functionality described above. We may also disclose information where required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

6. Data Storage and Security

The app runs on a self-hosted instance on infrastructure we control. Access tokens and related connection data are stored to maintain the authorized connection and are protected using reasonable technical and organizational measures, including restricted access and encrypted transport (HTTPS).

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We take reasonable steps to protect the information the app handles.

7. Data Retention

We retain information accessed through the app only for as long as needed to operate our content workflow, or as required for legal, security, or compliance reasons. When a connected account is disconnected or a deletion request is processed, associated access tokens and connection data are removed, except where retention is required as described above.

8. User Data Deletion

You may request deletion of data associated with the SelfFit Content Engine by emailing frank@coachfrankfitness.com. Full step-by-step instructions are available on our Data Deletion page.

You can also disconnect the app at any time from your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Business Integrations / Apps and Websites.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
