Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the SelfFit Content Engine, an internal business tool operated by Frank Hidalgo / SelfFit.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SelfFit Content Engine ("the app", "the tool"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The app is operated by Frank Hidalgo / SelfFit ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the app.
2. Purpose of the Tool
The SelfFit Content Engine is an internal business tool used to connect our own Instagram Business account and Facebook Page to our self-hosted Postiz instance for content scheduling, publishing, Trial Reels, and performance analytics. It is not a public, multi-tenant software-as-a-service product and is not offered for general public sign-up.
3. Authorized Use
The app is used internally by Frank Hidalgo / SelfFit and authorized operators acting on our behalf. It connects only to social media assets that we own and control. Use of the app is limited to managing our own business-owned content and analytics.
4. Meta Platform Compliance
Use of the app must comply with the Meta Platform Terms, the Instagram and Facebook Developer Policies, and all applicable platform requirements. We access Meta platform data only through the official APIs and only with the permissions granted for our own connected assets.
The app does not scrape Instagram or Facebook, does not access private competitor insights, and does not use platform data for unauthorized profiling or any purpose outside the operation of our own content workflow.
5. Content Publishing
The app may be used to create, schedule, and publish content (including posts and Trial Reels) to our own connected Instagram Business account and Facebook Page. We are responsible for the content we publish and for ensuring it complies with Meta's policies and applicable law.
6. Analytics and Reporting
The app may retrieve performance insights and analytics for content on our own connected accounts in order to measure and improve our content. These insights are used internally and are not resold or shared for advertising purposes.
7. Prohibited Use
The app may not be used to:
- Access, collect, or process data from accounts or assets we do not own or are not authorized to manage.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from Instagram or Facebook in violation of platform policies.
- Access private competitor insights or any data not made available to us through authorized permissions.
- Sell, rent, or transfer platform data to third parties.
- Perform unauthorized profiling or any activity that violates the Meta Platform Terms or applicable law.
8. No Warranty
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frank Hidalgo / SelfFit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to the use of the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
